Gram counters who still want to sleep. The Fillo Elite weighs 83 g and packs to 10 x 8 cm - Nemo compare it to a kaffir lime - and it still delivers real height and cushioning. At that weight there is no trip where a pillow is genuinely out of the question.

Air, foam, or both

Both, engineered down to nothing. A 3-inch I-beam baffled air cell provides the height and holds its shape, topped with a layer of 100% post-consumer recycled PrimaLoft insulation and an ultra-soft jersey cover. The insulation is what stops it feeling like the bare air pillow it weighs like.

I-beam baffling is the reason it stays under your head instead of squirting out sideways when you roll over.

Size and loft

39 x 27 cm with 8 cm of loft. Slightly trimmer than the standard Fillo in every dimension, which is exactly where the weight went.

Packed size and weight

83 g, packing to 10 x 8 cm in its integrated stuff sack. That is smaller than most people's spare socks.

Washing it

The jersey cover is soft against skin and easy to keep clean. Air it out after a trip rather than storing it compressed.
