Old Man Running - Gerard Ceulemans

A peach-coloured face in profile, mouth open, looks out to the left from the upper half of this swirling composition, with a green and yellow eye set in the lines beside it. Lower down, a bare foot and a clenched hand break through, as if the figure is caught mid-stride. Long ribbons of orange, red, yellow and lilac stream out behind like wind-blown hair, looping around pools of green and blue on a deep teal ground.
