Quill Lyte | 20L, 200L & 1000L

Quill Lyte is a liquid feed electrolyte for adding to Poultry, Turkeys & Pigs drinking water containing Electrolytes, Chelated Minerals and Amino Acids. Formulated to prevent dehydration and replenish lost fluids. Ideal for use before transportation and slaughter to help minimise dehydration and weight loss.

DILUTION RATE

5:1000 (5ml of Lyte in 1 Litre of drinking water)

Electrolytes (Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium)

• Retains muscle hydration, pH balance & nerve function

Glycine

• Supports skin strength & improves average daily weight gain

Potassium

• Promotes absorption of glycine, supports healthy growth & development

Directions for use:

Dilution rate 5: 1000 (1ml of Quill Lyte per 1000ml water)

Add to drinking water; directly into drinkers, tanks or with a dosing pump. Can be used alongside other Quill supplements; mix within water not as concentrates.

Recommendation: Use a water sanitiser to prevent the build up of biofilm whilst using supplements.

Use as required during periods of high temperature, stress or before/ after transportation.

Farm to factory

During processing, animals often lose weight due to long feed withdrawal, stress and dehydration. Using this electrolyte for 48 hours before collection will increase water consumption to ensure maximum muscle hydration. What’s more, the electrolytes in Quill Lyte encourage pigs & poultry to drink more.

What is Glycine?

Quill Lyte contains Glycine, an essential amino acid in Poultry & Pig diets. Glycine is essential for muscle mass development, weight gain & skin strength in monogastrics. Trials have shown that glycine is an essential amino acid for enhancing muscle protein mass in young piglets.
