Red Bow Joyeux Noel Rectangular Limoges Box

Joyeux Noel, French for Merry Christmas, greets you from this rectangular box, finished with a bright red bow. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France, bringing a French accent to the holiday season.

Wrapped With a Red Bow

The red bow makes the box look like a present waiting to be opened, while the Joyeux Noel greeting brings the warmth of a Christmas in France. The rectangle shape gives the message room to read clearly. Each piece is painted by hand, so the lettering and bow have slight variations.

A French Christmas Pairing

• Painted by hand in Limoges, France
• Fits a Christmas, French holiday or greeting collection
• Pairs with the gold bow Joyeux Noel box and Noel votive light

Festive Moments for Francophiles

Give it to a French teacher before winter break, a friend who spent a Christmas in Paris, or a family with French roots that celebrates le réveillon each Christmas Eve. It also suits a hostess thank-you, a Secret Santa exchange, or a first Christmas in a new home. Set it on the mantel, the dessert buffet or the entry table.

Many Limoges boxes are painted by hand after the white porcelain is fired, so a greeting like this is lettered by an artist rather than printed.
